I've written a draft of a children's book about a monster who lives under a bed. These are some initial designs that I pulled from my memory of the one who lived under my bed.
I've got to go sillier, but had to get the scary ones out of the way first.

hahaa... yea i've tried to draw monsters, i think my little nephew gage hes 4, hes really good at drawing monsters... he gives me tips sometimes. I like the scary ones, he probably would too actually.
I think...it depends on what kind of story you are trying to tell. It's hard to balance scary and silly. :D
When I was little, i was senstiive, but I really liked the scary monsters too.
